Catholic churches were built in the shape of a cross or a rectangle. So as to stress the equality of all people as they worship in God's house. Hence, the planform rectangle is taken. Dome is designed because of deep symbolism. The glass dome is provided so as to get the ample of light to the sanctuary below. The circle represents the heavenly and divine. As an infinite form, with no end or beginning, it stands for the eternal.
In Church, Corinthian order are used. It is the most ornate of the Greek orders, characterized by a slender fluted column having an ornate capital decorated acanthus leaves and scrolls. It is commonly regarded as the most elegant of the three orders. Gothic arches are used, they are narrow arches with a pointed opening. Gothic arches have been used in cathedrals of the Middle ages across Europe.
Building is planned to have maximum natural light, natural ventilation.
